Fair questions about these numbers
Why do some tanks cost more to pump than others?
$400 covers a standard 750-gallon treatment plant. A Delta tank is $450 because getting the solids out of one is genuinely more work, and an older conventional 500-gallon tank without an aerator runs around $300. If your tank is something unusual, you get the real number before the truck starts pumping.
What exactly does the $550 combo cover?
The recertification and the pump-out together, in one visit: the whole system inspected, the aerator verified working, the tank pumped, and the paperwork filed. Done separately those are $200 and $400, so the combo saves $50 — and most home sales need both anyway.
What does the $4,000 installation include?
A MO-DAD 1 polypropylene treatment plant rated 600 gallons per day with a 750-gallon capacity, the aerator, all of your paperwork, and 100 feet of discharge line. The tank carries a lifetime warranty. It covers homes up to four bedrooms; five or more bedrooms need a larger tank, which we quote per job.
Why is there no price for excavation and site prep?
Because it would be a made-up number. A driveway culvert and a full mobile-home site are different projects by an order of magnitude. We look at the site, then you get a real quote before any digging starts.
